Provide leadership and operational oversight for access-based scholar programs within the Office of Scholar Programs (OSP), with primary responsibility for the Tech Promise Scholars (TPS) Program. Responsibilities include student advising and development, program and event management, onboarding and orientation, budget and operational oversight, staff supervision, and cross-campus collaboration to support student success and access.
Lead the Tech Promise Scholars Program, the Achieve Atlanta (AATL) program, and other access-based scholar programs in portfolio; advise, mentor, and support scholars including regular check-ins; oversee student and professional development initiatives and programming including faculty involvement and outdoor recreation opportunities; supervise student ambassadors.
Plan and oversee onboarding, orientation, retreats, and scholar events; design, teach, and recruit partners to teach GT1801 seminars for TPS, AATL, and scholars with similar awards under the OSP umbrella; develop onboarding modules and summer peer mentoring program.
Oversee program operations including meeting arrangements, procurement, records management, and compliance; track, reconcile, and report on program budgets; produce the TP Scholars annual report and required AATL documentation, and prepare requested documents.
Supervise assigned professional staff; provide performance feedback; delegate work, set priorities, and ensure alignment with departmental goals. Oversee web-based student support sites. Manage office and represent programs publicly as needed.
Support outreach and recruitment activities; review applications and interview candidates; collaborate with Undergraduate Admission, Development, and student access partners on community engagement; advise leadership on limited-income student needs. Train students, staff/faculty, and alumni volunteers.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

The Program Manager for Loans is responsible for managing loan reconciliation, disbursement processing, and loan maintenance activities to ensure accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency. Perform daily and monthly reconciliation of loan accounts, system records, and general ledger balances.

Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with applicable regulations and institutional policies.

This position reports to the Senior Associate Director and will be a key member of our Undergraduate Admission Office and partner with the Enrollment Management Marketing & Communication team. Responsible for strategy and content for Undergraduate Admission’s digital media presence, including social media, video and podcast content.
Leads the deployment, execution, and analysis of communication plans across multiple channels.

Thorough knowledge of the admissions field and experience with the interpretation of policies and procedures as well as experience communicating this information to prospective students and other relevant constituents
Broad understanding of strategic enrollment planning
Experience with group management, and budgeting
Foresee opportunities in assigned areas and as part of cross functional teams and proactively work to meet those needs
Direct the work of other staff, students, or interns as assigned
Manage territory recruitment regions and take responsibility of corresponding data management as well as corresponding admission committee and cohort review
Work with campus partners outside of the Office of Undergraduate Admission
Understand Institutional priorities and set goals to recruit within those priorities to meet goals of the Institute
Represent the Institute in a professional and positive manner at all Institute functions and recruitment functions both on and off campus
Seek growth opportunities beyond assigned areas through graduate school, continued education, professional development, or other self-assigned learning
Have a valid driver’s license and the ability to travel (sometimes driving long distances and staying overnight) including over weekend and evening hours required when necessary
The expected salary range for an Assistant Director is $49,300-67,000 commensurate with experience.
